the delivery of Comanche to the ship which will deliver her to Sydney for the start of the Sydney-Hobart race in December.

EARTH, WIND AND FIRE
SPURS AND LATIGO
12 METER CLASS 1958-1986
I have been working making short videos lately. I have made others that have nothing to do with sailing. Sailing is what people expect to find here.
GOODBYE NANCY BOY
I first met Bill when he was sailing on “Spirit” and then “New World”. Later of course during Cowes Weeks and while he was working for Jeremy Rogers. Our paths crossed less frequently as time passed; one of the last times was when Bill brought “Nancy” to the Six meter world championships in Newport, RI. god’s speed.
SAFETY AT SEA, LIFE RAFTS
RUNNING ON WATER, VOLVO 2014-15
Jerry Kirby got it right with his remark that it is about the friendships forged.
BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS
Each time I have visited Los Angeles I have walked along Hollywood blvd. I see every sort of person there. Young people with all there hopes pinned on being discovered in Hollywood. There is so much talent there and so many talented people who never get “discovered”.
FIRST SAIL
Today will be the first time “Comanche” will sail. Everything will be tested for the first time.
FIRE AND WATER, SAFETY AT SEA
It is always good to have hands on experience with safety gear. Like any “insurance” it usually is not used until you need it. The transatlantic race will start in Newport next summer finishing off the Lizard in England.
The day was split between class room, fire containment, and 4 hours in the pool in foul weather gear and boots; In and out of life rafts.
