Continuing the thread of what it is that sailors want from sailing; a recent poll conducted by scuttlebutt shows that people would like the return of reaching legs to race courses. Is it the desire for change? Or is it a genuine missing ingredient? Certainly in my earlier days of racing an olympic course or a modified version was standard. The America’s Cup similarly had two reaching legs.<\/p>\n
