Today at Point Reyes, we were witness to a most extraordinary event. We had gone to see the Elephant Seals. Then by the side of the road a wolf which was stalking a herd of deer had the tables turned. The deer attacked the wolf; chasing it away from the herd. The standoff lasted a while; long enough for me to take these photographs.<\/p>\n

We often think of deer like bambi. Here was proof that it is not the case.<\/p>\n
