The conversation has just taken an abrupt change of direction.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: large;\">what happened<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sailinganarchy.com\/fringe\/2012\/image%20(9).png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sailinganarchy.com\/fringe\/2012\/image%20(9).png_sml.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"390\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"5\" vspace=\"5\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe tracker doesn&#8217;t lie: The Hunter 37 Aegean, which was feared to have been run over by a large commercial vessel during the Newport to Ensenada race, actually ran aground on the North Coronado Island,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ca.reuters.com\/article\/sportsNews\/idCABRE84004V20120501\">killing four crew members<\/a>. A nasty bit of rock, and with the decent sized swell running during the race, it is not hard to imagine the sort of carnage rendered, at least to the boat.
