It is a new year. Yesterday, I could not even send an email for lack of bandwidth; but it is a new beginning today. After days of museums and cities we struck out into the country of Holland; the pays bas or low country. driving over vast dikes where water levels are carefully monitored.<\/p>\n

The skies we saw reminded me of those of Ruisdael.<\/p>\n
