I cannot open this document, and I am VERY interested in the physics of “Bumpy Leading Edge Foils” or “BLEF”. By the way I believe the word should be spelled “tubercles” not “turbocoles”, assuming the article refers to the bumps on the leading edges of humpback whale pectoral flippers. Two friends and I formed a little company to investigate potential applications of “BLEF” phenomena. See the website listed above.
