It has been years since I visited the Seaman’s Bethel in New Bedford. The restored area surrounding it was largely the work of John Bullard while he was mayor. (We do not have an equivalent in Newport)
The pulpit was made famous by the movie “Moby Dick”. ( book by Herman Melville)
