I may never pass this way again. One never sees the same thing the same way twice.  I have seen some remarkable things. I have taken a lot of photographs and I have missed some opportunities. I remember each lost image. I wrestle with some of the images because I have imposed myself on other’s lives. I try to ask if I am photographing someone. the spontaneity  is often lost once the moment is interrupted. I have been taking photographs for over 50 years now and have a library spanning a broad variety of subjects. A chronicle of sorts of my life. Paul Mello has been full of encouragement about my latest images.

  1. Egale – Lucky shot? I remember staying up all night to get a shot of Philip Weld being the first American to win the OSTAR. You make your own luck and you’ve been lucky a lot this trip…

  2. Or Condor?
I am most impressed that you remember each lost image – I can’t even remember the ones I got!
